2027: Tinubu Will Win Again, Opposition Coalition A Waste Of Time- Setonji David

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Setonji David, has said the opposition elements forming alliances under different platforms would not succeed in stopping  President Bola Tinubu’s reelection.

David said that Tinubu’s second term is sure, stating that nobody should doubt it as Nigerians understand the direction he is taking the country.

The Deputy Chief Whip, who represents Badagry Constituency 2, made these remarks In a media interview on Sunday in Lagos.

According to him, no political observer or Nigerian should doubt Tinubu’s reelection, insisting that any attempt by opposition groups to challenge it would be a waste of time and resources.

“No political watcher or Nigerian should doubt the second term of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is a done deal. He is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the second term beginning in 2027. Nobody should think otherwise,” the lawmaker said.

David said the only prayer of supporters was for God to grant the president the strength and wisdom to continue the work he had started in repositioning the country.

The lawmaker said Tinubu had demonstrated courage and determination in tackling long-standing challenges confronting Nigeria.

“He is doing and going excellently well. We have never had a president with this kind of courage to carry out the reforms we have now. He has taken bold steps many leaders before him avoided, and those reforms are laying a solid foundation for a better Nigeria”, said David.

According to him, Nigeria is gradually returning to the path of growth and stability.
