LSETF Bridges Finance Gap For Ikorodu Entrepreneurs

…enlightens them on loan opportunities

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has enlightened 51 residents and business owners in Ikorodu on its loan opportunities and application requirements as part of efforts to expand access to finance for entrepreneurs across the State.

The Application Readiness Exercise was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Igbe-Ilaara, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, where participants received practical guidance on available loan interventions, eligibility criteria and the application process.

The engagement was facilitated by LSETF Liaison Officers Ogunfeyinmi Ronke, Agbabiaka Anota, Oduegwu Samson and Aladekanye Temidayo.

The officers explained how access to finance could help businesses expand their operations, improve productivity, sustain growth and create employment opportunities. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on the application requirements.

The exercise was attended by Chief Mrs. Ogunaike Folashade Adeola, Iyalaje of Igbe Kingdom, and members of her team.

LSETF said the community-based initiative was designed to bridge information gaps and ensure that eligible entrepreneurs are adequately prepared to access its financial interventions.

The Fund reaffirmed its commitment to taking its programmes to communities across Lagos, supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening businesses and promoting sustainable job creation.
