The Lagos State Special Taskforce on Environmental Offences has demolished the shanties along the Iju Fagba corridor of the Lagos rail line.
Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, made this known on his X handle on Tuesday.
He said “Operatives of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water @LasgMOE and the Lagos State Special Taskforce on Environmental Offences resume the demolition of shanties along the Iju-Fagba corridor of the Lagos rail line”.
It would be recalled that the Taskforce began demolition of shanties around corridors of the rail lines across Lagos since early February, 2024
