Turkish giants Galatasaray have confirmed that Victor Osimhen has undergone successful surgery on a fractured right forearm.
The striker sustained the injury during a UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg clash against Liverpool.
In an official statement, the club disclosed that the procedure was carried out by team doctor Yener İnce at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital.
Reports indicate that Osimhen is expected to return to action in time for the Intercontinental Derby against fierce rivals Fenerbahçe on April 26.
The Nigerian forward has already received visits in hospital from Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek and head coach Okan Buruk.
