President Bola Tinubu says he does not support the idea of price control, emphasizing the importance of market forces in determining prices.
Speaking during his first presidential media chat on Monday in Lagos, Tinubu described the matter as a “question of supply and demand,” underscoring the need for a free-market approach to economic management.
“I do not believe in price control,” the President said.
“It’s a question of supply and demand. Eventually, economic prosperity will balance the scales, but it could also work against you if not managed properly”, he added.
