Lagos APC Unveils Organising Committee Ahead Of Primaries

 

 

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted a 26-man Local Organising Committee ahead of the party’s primary elections across the country. The committee will oversee preparations and coordinate activities for the conduct of the primaries in the state.

The Secretary of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Mutiu Are, was appointed as chairman of the committee, while the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Works, Olayinka Adekunle, will serve as secretary.

According to the party, the committee is expected to coordinate the administrative and operational framework for the smooth conduct of the APC primary elections across Lagos State.

The committee also has several sub-committees to handle specific responsibilities relating to planning, mobilisation, publicity, security and special assignments during the exercise.

Members of the Planning and Strategy Sub-Committee include Oyinlomo Danmole, Jide Adams, Abayomi Oluyomi, Folashade Bakare, Olugbenga Nollah, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, Toyin Suarau and Segun Ogunlewe.

The Contacts and Mobilisation Sub-Committee comprises Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Sunday Aboyade, Olayinka Olusanya, Fatai Akinderu, Abayomi Daramola, J.S. Babatunde, Olugbenga Abdullahi, Kazeem Kayode Eleshin and Fatai Ayoola.

For the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, the party named Jide Adams, Balogun Yomi, Ayo Olugbenro and Haffez Odunewu as members charged with handling information dissemination and public engagement.

The Security Sub-Committee includes Ajibade Taiwo Oyekan, Adeola Jokomba, Bayo Sanwo-Olu and Kamorudeen Adegoke Ajape, while the Special Duties Sub-Committee has Lateef Ibirogba, Damilola Senayon-James, Akeem Muniru and Mukhtar Tijani as members.
