APC Unveils 2027 Primaries Timetable

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, signaling the party’s early preparations for the crucial polls.
In a press release issued on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party disclosed that the schedule provides a comprehensive framework for its internal electoral processes, including timelines for screening of aspirants, appeals, and the conduct of primary elections.
The statement noted that the timetable was formally signed by the APC’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, underscoring the party’s readiness to commence a structured and transparent selection process for its candidates.

According to the document, the schedule also contains detailed directives on the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms, which are expected to guide aspirants seeking to contest various elective positions under the party’s platform.
The APC emphasized that the early release of the timetable is part of its broader strategy to ensure adequate planning, compliance with electoral guidelines, and smooth coordination of activities across all levels of the party.
