Senator Eshinlokun-Sanni Joins Lagos GAC

 

 

 

A former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Sen.Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, has been appointed into the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) of the Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC).

Eshinlokun-Sanni’s appointment into the GAC ranks, was disclosed in a congratulatory message posted on the facebook by Ibrahim Obanikoro, the son of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.

Ibrahim, who was a member of the House of Representatives, described it as an indication of his loyalty, integrity, and style of leadership that have distinguished him over the years.

He added that the GAC has gained a truly valuable and experienced statesman who would contribute effectively to the council’s decision-making.

According to the statement, “Dear Distinguished Senator Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni, the news of your acceptance as a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the highest political decision-making body in Lagos State, came to me with great delight, though it was by no means a surprise.

“Having served meritoriously as Local Government Chairman, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, where you rose to become Deputy Speaker, and now as the Senator representing Lagos Central, your elevation to this highly respected body is a natural progression and a testament to your exceptional leadership, loyalty, and integrity.

“I have no doubt whatsoever in your capacity to contribute meaningfully at this level, and I am confident that the GAC has gained a truly valuable and experienced statesman in your person.

“As you join the distinguished team, I pray that Almighty God continues to grant you the wisdom, strength, and discernment required to help shape the future of our great party and the progress of Lagos State. May He continue to guide, guard, and protect you in this important assignment”.
