High-Level Consultations: Jandor Courts GAC Leaders, Obasa Ahead Of Lagos APC Governorship Primaries
A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has intensified his strategic consultation drive with a high-level visit to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.
The visit to the Speaker forms a key part of Adediran’s deliberate engagement with critical institutional stakeholders within the party and government, as he steps up consultations ahead of the Lagos APC governorship primaries.
In continuation of his outreach to the leadership of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Jandor also visited Chief Dr. Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih, a prominent member of the council and respected elder statesman.
A statement by his spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye, said the engagement with Finnih, a renowned Nigerian obstetrician and gynecologist, provided an avenue for in-depth discussions, drawing on his vast experience in governance and party affairs.
Observers say the consultations further underscore Adediran’s structured and inclusive approach, which combines grassroots mobilisation with high-level stakeholder engagement.
They argued that his bottom-top and top-bottom strategy continues to drive a broad-based consensus-building process across various levels of the party.
Meanwhile, Adediran reiterated his commitment to party unity, internal cohesion, and respect for established leadership structures, stressing that his ambition is anchored on collective progress and the consolidation of the APC’s achievements in Lagos State.
He also reaffirmed that his directive to leaders across the 377 wards and 13,326 polling units remains in effect, ensuring sustained engagement with party members statewide as preparations intensify for the 2027 electoral cycle.
