Edo Information Ministry, Genius Creative Hub Forge Alliance To Drive Social Change

The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua, has expressed the ministry’s readiness to collaborate with organizations that focus on individual empowerment, harnessing the creative energy of the people to drive innovation and progress in line with the Governor’s ‘SHINE’ objectives.
Prince Afegbua gave this assurance at the Ministry’s Corporate office in Benin city, while disclosing the ministry’s plans to partner with Circuit Ewaen Studio Genius Creative Hub to support advocacy initiatives, aimed at creating awareness and driving behavioural change through short films.
He commended the Chief Innovation Officer of Genius Creative Hub, Mrs. Isimeme White, describing her as a diligent and inspiring ambassador of the younger generation, for whom failure is not an option.
Emphasizing the governor’s commitment to maintain close connections with citizens at all levels, he asserted that public office remains a platform for serving the common man.
In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Rose Imonikhe, commended the management team of Circuit Ewaen Studio, Genius Creative Hub for their tireless advocacy and meaningful contributions to public enlightenment in the State.
While outlining the Hub’s objectives, Mrs. Isimeme, stated that their programmes synergized with the Ministry’s communication and advocacy goals, explaining that the organization focused on producing short, impactful films that address critical social issues such as human trafficking, value reorientation and community development.
She appealed for the ministry’s partnership to expand their outreach and amplify awareness on key issues affecting the State.
