LSETF, Ojodu LCDA Strengthen Partnership On Economic Empowerment

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have strengthened their partnership to expand access to business support, financing and employment opportunities for residents.
The renewed collaboration was highlighted during the handover of a newly furnished LSETF Liaison Office at the Ojodu LCDA Secretariat.
Speaking at the ceremony, LSETF Director of Programmes and Coordination, Ms. Oyindamola Egbeyemi, commended the council for providing and furnishing the facility, describing it as an important platform for bringing the Fund’s interventions closer to residents at the grassroots.
Representing the Council Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, the Chief of Staff, Olaide Bello, reaffirmed the LCDA’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, access to finance and employment opportunities.
The new liaison office is expected to provide residents with easier access to information and support on MSME financing, entrepreneurship development, employability programmes and other LSETF interventions.
The development builds on the recent collaboration between the two institutions during an on-the-spot loan application exercise, which attracted significant participation from residents.
Both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the partnership and ensuring that economic empowerment initiatives reach more businesses and residents across Ojodu LCDA.
