The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has begun enforcing the 2026 parking permit regulations across the state following the end of its grace period for customers to regularise their operations.
LASPA General Manager, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, urged customers yet to obtain their permits to do so immediately to avoid sanctions, including fines and suspension of operations, under the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.
She said the enforcement aims to promote compliance, accountability and efficient parking management. LASPA had earlier issued 2026 Demand Notices detailing applicable fees and registration procedures.
Adelabu assured customers that LASPA personnel were available to assist with registration and online payments.
She also urged the public to cooperate with enforcement officers and report unauthorised parking activities.
