Abiodun Lauds IGP Disu For Deploying Police Aircraft To Combat Crime In Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has commended Inspector General of Police, Mr. Tunji Disu, for deploying a police aircraft to support security operations in the state.

The deployment followed the governor’s request to strengthen security and combat criminality, banditry, and kidnapping, and was swiftly approved.

Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, who received the aircraft and crew, conveyed the state’s appreciation for the prompt response and commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

He said the aircraft would enhance surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response, supporting efforts to rid the state of criminal elements.

The move reflects the strong partnership between the state government and security agencies in improving safety and protecting infrastructure.

According to him, it will also boost Operation Kosaye, aimed at flushing out kidnappers and bandits in forests, border areas, and other hotspots.

Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his commitment to supporting security agencies and investing in peace, security, and development.
