Nwabali Closes In On Saudi Move

Nigeria international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali could be closing in on his next club, with strong indications that a move to Saudi Arabia is gathering momentum.

The Super Eagles shot-stopper has been without a club since leaving Chippa United earlier this year, but his impressive performances for both club and country have continued to attract interest from several leagues.

Although clubs from various markets have monitored the 29-year-old’s situation, sources indicate that Saudi Arabia has emerged as the most likely destination for the experienced goalkeeper.

Nwabali has enhanced his reputation with a string of outstanding performances for Nigeria, establishing himself as one of the Super Eagles’ first-choice goalkeepers. His displays have made him a sought-after figure in the transfer market despite his current status as a free agent.

While no official agreement has been announced, negotiations are believed to be progressing positively. If talks are successfully concluded, the goalkeeper is expected to complete a move to the Saudi Pro League in the coming weeks.
