Lagos APC Mourns As Re-Elected Assistant Publicity Secretary Karamo Yesiro Dies 24 Hours After Congress

The newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Hon. Karamo Yesiro, has died.
Yesiro died 24 hours after his re-election at the Congress held at the Mobalaji Johnson Arena ( Onikan Stadium).
His death was announced by the party, in a statement issued on Wednesday night by its State Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo.
The party described his passing as shocking and deeply painful, noting that his demise comes at a time when his energy and commitment to the progressive movement were most needed.
Yesiro was praised for his dedication, loyalty, and unwavering belief in the ideals of the APC.
The party said although his tenure was tragically cut short, his humility, enthusiasm, and readiness to serve left a lasting impression on colleagues and members across the state.
“He was a vibrant party man whose contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State will not be forgotten,” the statement read.
The party leadership extended heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, political associates, friends, and supporters, praying for strength and comfort during what it described as an irreparable loss.
The Lagos APC said it stands united in mourning the painful departure of Hon. Karamo Yesiro, adding that he will be remembered for his service, commitment, and belief in the progressive cause.
