The governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has dissolved his cabinet, retaining the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff and other principal officers .
The governor made the announcement during the monthly cabinet council meeting in Minna.
This development marks the first major shake-up in the Niger state governance structure.
