Lagos Sports Commission Promotes Active Lifestyle Through Partnerships

The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting healthy living and active lifestyles through sports and partnerships.
LSSC Director-General Lekan Fatodu stated this during a courtesy visit by marathon runner, food enthusiast and Nestlé Pure Life Water ambassador, Ade Enioluwa, at the Commission’s office in Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Fatodu said the Commission’s role goes beyond organising competitions, extending to collaborations that encourage healthy living among Lagos residents.
He noted that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has supported partnerships that promote sports development, recreational activities, talent discovery and wellness.

According to Fatodu, the Commission is building a sporting ecosystem where health, culture and opportunity meet, while encouraging residents to exercise, eat healthy and embrace active lifestyles.
In his remarks, Enioluwa said his passion for food is matched by a disciplined fitness routine, saying that he was preparing for the Nestlé Water Marathon in November with a goal of finishing under four hours.
He credited discipline, consistency and support from others for his progress, adding that he hopes to inspire young people to pursue their goals with determination.
