Super Eagles Open Antalya Camp Ahead Of Iran, Jordan Friendlies

 

 

The Super Eagles on Tuesday officially opened camp in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of their international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, coaches and team officials have already arrived in Istanbul, Turkey.

Several players were expected to arrive at the team’s Antalya base on Tuesday, with training scheduled to commence on Wednesday in preparation for the pre-World Cup friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

Efoghe added that invited players have started arriving in camp, with a full squad expected by Wednesday morning.

Head coach Éric Chelle has invited 23 players for the friendlies, with Victor Osimhen ruled out after undergoing thumb surgery on Monday in Turkey.

The three-time African champions will face Iran in their opening match on Friday at 4 p.m. local time.

They will then take on Jordan four days later.
