Eno Makes Key Agric-Business Appointments To Drive ARISE Agenda

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has approved the appointment of two officials into key positions within his administration, including the roles of Senior Special Assistant and Director of Agric-Business.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Governor, Prince Enobong Uwah, said the appointments are aimed at strengthening service delivery and advancing the effective implementation of the administration’s “ARISE” agenda.
Pastor Godwin Ukwat has been appointed Special Assistant to the Governor on Agric-Business. In his new role, he is expected to coordinate agricultural investment initiatives across major state projects, including the Ibom Model Farms, AKADEP, the Tractor and Equipment Leasing Company, the Tree Crop Revolution, and the development of farm settlements and food value chains in Akwa Ibom State. He will work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and AKICROP to fulfil these responsibilities.

In a related development, Mr. Ofonmbuk Nelson has been appointed Director of Agric-Business and will serve as Secretary to the Agriculture and Food Committee.
Both appointments take immediate effect, the statement added.
