…Dozens of Shops Burnt
A section of popular Alaba International market in Amuwo-Odofin local government area of Lagos has been gutted by fire in early morning of Friday.
It was gathered that dozens of shops were affected and traders lost goods and properties worth million of naira.
The cause of the fire inferno was unknown as at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness said that no fire service and rescue agency came to their rescue since the fire started.
He said that the traders resorted to self-help in extinguishing the fire.
