The Nigerian ambassador to Spain, Mr Demola Rasaq Seriki, has died.
Seriki’s death was announced in a notice signed by his children on Thursday.
According to the notice, the Ambassador died in Madrid, Spain in the early hours of Thursday.
Seriki was one of the close political associates of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He also served as a Minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
Seriki, who aspired to become a Senator, lost the APC Lagos Central Senatorial ticket to the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun at the party’s primaries in 2022.
