NFF Unveils Timetable For Sept 27 Elections

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Electoral Committee has unveiled the timetable for the federation’s 2026 Executive Committee elections, scheduled to hold on September 27 in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
According to the electoral roadmap, the publication of the election rules and guidelines, as well as the commencement of the sale of nomination forms, will begin on Saturday, August 1. The deadline for the submission of completed forms is August 12.
Candidates with irregularities in their submitted documents will be notified between August 13 and 19, while the period for correcting such irregularities will run from August 20 to 27. The screening of candidates is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30.
The Electoral Committee will publish the list of cleared candidates on August 31. Disqualified candidates will have from September 1 to 3 to file appeals, while the committee will determine the appeals between September 4 and 10.
The final list of cleared candidates will be released between September 11 and 12, while the delegates’ list will be published on September 13. Campaigns by cleared candidates will run from September 14 to 24.
The NFF Executive Committee elections will be held on September 27 in Lafia, while the deadline for the submission of election petitions has been fixed for September 30.
