Rainy Season: LSSTF Supports LASTMA With 300 Raincoats, Enhances Traffic Management
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated 300 raincoats to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to support officers during the rainy season and improve their operational readiness.
The items were presented on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, by his Executive Assistant, Mrs. Adaobi Nwankwo, as part of LSSTF’s commitment to equipping security and traffic agencies for effective service delivery.
The initiative aligns with the Fund’s broader goal of supporting the Lagos State Government in strengthening public safety, traffic management, and emergency response.
LASTMA, through its Zonal Head, Ms. Ayilaran Olubunmi Mercy, expressed appreciation for the timely support, noting it would ease operations in difficult weather conditions.
The raincoats are expected to enhance officers’ visibility and efficiency during heavy rainfall, while LSSTF continues to invest in vehicles, equipment, technology, and training to strengthen Lagos’ security system.
