Yamal Pushes Barcelona to Sign Osimhen in Bold Transfer Move

Highly rated Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has reportedly expressed a strong desire to see Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen join him at the club ahead of next season.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the teenage winger is said to have urged Barcelona to prioritise a move for Osimhen as they seek to strengthen their attacking options.
Osimhen, who is currently playing for Galatasaray, is among several high-profile forwards being considered by the Catalan giants. Other players linked with the club include Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
Football analysts believe Yamal’s creativity, pace, and delivery from wide areas could complement Osimhen’s physicality, intelligent movement, and clinical finishing, potentially forming a formidable attacking partnership.
However, any potential deal is expected to be financially challenging. Galatasaray are reportedly open to negotiations but would demand a substantial transfer fee for the Nigerian international.
The Turkish club is believed to have placed a valuation of around €150 million on Osimhen—approximately double the fee they paid to sign him from Napoli last summer.
As Barcelona continue to assess their transfer options, the prospect of pairing one of Europe’s brightest young talents with one of Africa’s most prolific strikers is likely to attract significant attention.
