The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has unveiled a 24-athlete squad for the upcoming World Athletics Relays scheduled to take place from May 2 to 3 in Gaborone, Botswana.
The list, released by the federation’s Technical Committee following the conclusion of entry processes, features a blend of experienced campaigners and emerging talents.
Among the notable names included are seasoned athletes such as Patience Okon George, Blessing Ogundiran, Chidi Okezie, Emmanuel Ojeli, Enoch Adegoke, and Favour Ashe.
The squad also provides opportunities for rising stars like Gafari Badmus, Ezekiel Eno Azukwo, Jecinta Lawrence, Toheebat Jimoh, and Tejiri Godwin.
Team Nigeria is set to compete in all six relay events at the championship.
