The governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Chiamaka Nnake as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), making her the first female to occupy the position in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Christian Anytime, on Monday.
Nnake previously served as commissioner for budget and economic planning in the state and was also chairman of Solution Fun City Limited.
“She also held key leadership roles across several state boards and initiatives, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, the Internal Revenue Service Board, and the Small Business Agency”.
Before joining public service, Nnake worked as a senior strategy consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria.
