Ramadan and Lent: Jandor Advocates Inclusive, Prosperous Lagos for All

A 2027 Lagos governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has extended warm greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful across Lagos State as the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent commence.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye, Jandor described the period as a unique time for deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to God.

He noted that both observances emphasise the enduring values of humility, compassion, discipline, and service to humanity.

He urged Lagosians to use the sacred season to pray for peace, unity, and sustained progress in the state, while also encouraging acts of charity, tolerance, and mutual respect among people of different faiths.

“These solemn seasons remind us of our shared responsibility to build a more caring, just, and inclusive society. As we fast, pray, and reflect, let us recommit ourselves to the collective good and to the vision of a prosperous and progressive Lagos for all,” he said.

Jandor wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and prayed that the Lenten season would usher in renewal and divine guidance for Christians across the state.
