The Presidency has reassured Nigerians regarding the health of President Bola Tinubu, who is currently on a state visit to Turkey.
This follows an incident in Ankara during a welcome reception, where the President stumbled twice, sparking concerns about his wellbeing. The Presidency explained that the mishap was caused by a poorly laid blue carpet and not by any health issue.
President Tinubu has since resumed his official duties and is presently engaged in a bilateral meeting with Turkish authorities. A joint press conference is expected after the meeting.
