Abiru Delivers Key Healthcare, Education Projects to Epe Division

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, has again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development with the delivery of key infrastructural projects across communities in Epe Division.
Abiru officially handed over three major community projects to residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin and Eredo Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), alongside the commissioning of 12 completed motorized boreholes across the district.
The newly completed projects include a renovated and equipped Primary Health Centre at Ado-Ikosi (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA), a newly constructed and equipped Primary Health Centre at Kula Nla, Odomola (Eredo LCDA), and a fully furnished block of classrooms at RCM Primary School, Ejinrin.
Speaking through his Special Assistant, Mr. Dele Abiru, and Hon. Olusegun Olulade (Eleniyan), Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing, Galaxy Backbone Limited, Senator Abiru reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of constituents through sustainable investments in education and healthcare, describing both as “vital pillars of lasting community development.”
“At Ado-Ikosi and Kula Nla, residents now have better access to quality healthcare, while at Ejinrin, pupils can learn in a more conducive environment,” Senator Abiru said, adding that the projects were designed to directly improve the quality of life for people in the rural communities.
The commissioning ceremonies were performed on behalf of the Senator by the Chairmen of the host councils — Akogun Wale Raji Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA) and Ismail Monsuru Akinloye (Eredo LCDA).
Anomo praised Senator Abiru’s “greater good for the greater number” philosophy, describing it as a model for progressive representation that prioritizes tangible community impact.
Similarly, Akinloye commended the Senator for his inclusive approach to leadership, noting that “every local government under his watch feels the touch of his representation.”
The Education Secretary of Epe Local Government Education Authority, Hon. Shittu Aliu Idowu, who represented the Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr. Hakeem Shittu, commended Senator Abiru for his consistent contributions to improving basic education across the senatorial district.
