‘End Of An Era’- Jandor Pays Tribute To Late Akran of Badagry

 

A 2027 governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran JANDOR, has mourned the passing of the Akran of Badagry Kingdom, His Majesty, De Wheno Aholu Menu-Toyi I.

The late monarch was reported dead earlier today (Monday) at age 89.

Jandor described the late Akran as a revered traditional ruler, a custodian of culture, and a symbol of unity whose reign contributed significantly to the peace, stability, and cultural heritage of Badagry Kingdom and Lagos State at large.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the chiefs and people of Badagry Kingdom, as well as the government and people of Lagos State.

Jandor stated that the monarch’s death marks the end of an era and is a profound loss to traditional institutions in Nigeria.

“May the legacy of service, peace, and cultural pride upheld by His Majesty continue to inspire present and future generations,” Jandor said.
