The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of the Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umaru Iliya Damagum, is set to inaugurate the Main Convention Planning Committee.
This was disclosed in a post on the official facebook page of the PDP on Tuesday.
The inauguration is scheduled to hold later today by 2:00pm at the NEC Hall, Wadata Plaza, the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The committee will be chaired by the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who is expected to spearhead preparations towards a successful and hitch-free convention.
Party leaders, stakeholders, and members of the media are expected to attend the important event.
