President Bola Tinubu would make a nationwide broadcast tonight at 7 pm.
This was announced in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Special duties, Communications & Strategy, Dele Alake.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 7 pm,” the statement read.
The statement also urged all television, radio stations and other electronic media to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.
The President’s address is highly anticipated as it comes at a critical juncture in the nation’s affairs where citizens are battling with the effect of the removal of petrol subsidy and increase in foreign exchange rate.
