Fenerbache Plot Mega Move For Lookman, Salah

Following their failure to halt the dominance of eternal rivals Galatasaray, who secured the Turkish Super Lig title for the fourth consecutive season, Fenerbahce are preparing to intensify efforts to challenge for the crown next term.

As part of their plans to strengthen the squad ahead of next season, the Istanbul giants are reportedly ready to make a huge statement in the transfer market by targeting Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman and departing Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

The club’s presidential candidates, Aziz Yıldırım and Hakan Safi, are said to be working tirelessly with their respective teams to secure major transfer deals before the congress scheduled for June 6 and 7.

According to Fanatik, both candidates are pushing to reach agreements with Lookman and Salah as they seek to win the support of the club’s fans ahead of the elections.

Fenerbahce were close to signing Lookman in January after reportedly agreeing terms with both the player and Atalanta, with a contract already prepared for the Nigerian international.

However, the Serie A side demanded a bank guarantee, and when the Sadettin Saran administration declined to provide it, Atletico Madrid stepped in and completed the transfer.

Yıldırım and Safi are now exploring fresh options to bring Lookman to Fenerbahce, with the forward remaining one of the club supporters’ top transfer targets.

The candidates have also been encouraged by reports from Spain suggesting that Atletico Madrid could be willing to sell the Super Eagles star for a profit after just one season.
