Bayern Munich Set Up PSG Semi-Final After Thrilling Win Over Real Madrid

Bayern Munich booked their place in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after edging Real Madrid in a dramatic seven-goal thriller.

The quarter-final second leg burst into life with five goals in a frenetic first half, before the contest settled into a more tactical affair after the break as both sides slowed the tempo.

Extra time appeared inevitable, but the game turned decisively in the closing stages. Real Madrid substitute Eduardo Camavinga was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for time-wasting following a foul on Harry Kane with just four minutes remaining.

Bayern capitalised almost immediately. With a minute left, Luis Díaz struck what proved to be the winner—his 24th goal of the season—combining neatly with Jamal Musiala before curling a deflected effort into the top corner.

Real Madrid had taken the lead three times during a pulsating encounter, but Kane’s milestone 50th goal of the season helped Bayern respond on each occasion.

The German side, who held a 2-1 advantage from the first leg, ultimately proved more clinical when it mattered most.

Michael Olise added gloss to the result deep into stoppage time, curling home Bayern’s fourth goal to secure a 4-3 victory on the night and a 6-4 aggregate triumph.

Bayern Munich will now face Paris Saint-Germain for a place in the final.
