Super Eagles Begin Title Defence as Unity Cup Fixtures Unfold

 

 

 

Nigeria will begin the defence of their Unity Cup title against Zimbabwe in the opening match of the invitational tournament.

The encounter is scheduled for May 26 at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

The second semifinal, featuring Jamaica and India, will take place a day later. Winners from both semifinals will clash in the final on May 30.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles previously drew 1-1 with Zimbabwe’s Warriors in both legs of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures.

Following the tournament, the Super Eagles are set to face Poland and Portugal in international friendlies in June.
