Leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by its National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, are currently holding a high-level emergency meeting in Abuja.
The meeting is taking place at the residence of former Senate President, David Mark.
Prominent figures in attendance include Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Sokoto State Governor and 2023 presidential aspirant, Aminu Tambuwal; former Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Abubakar Malami; and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.
The ongoing engagement reflects intensifying consultations among opposition leaders and may signal emerging political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
