Okpebholo Pledges 2.5 Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027, Reaffirms Support for Muslim Community

The governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has pledged his unwavering political and moral support for President Bola Tinubu, vowing to deliver 2.5 million votes for him in the 2027 general elections.

Okpebholo made the commitment while hosting members of the Muslim community in Edo State during a special celebration to mark his one year in office, held at Behind City. He urged the community to sustain their prayers and support for President Tinubu and his administration ahead of the polls.

“I have promised the President that I will deliver 2.5 million votes to him come 2027,” Okpebholo said, assuring that Edo State would remain solidly behind the Tinubu administration.

In his remarks, the governor expressed appreciation to the Muslim faithful for their prayers, loyalty, and steadfast support during his first year in office, describing them as a vital pillar of his administration’s success.

Reaffirming his commitment to the unity and prosperity of Edo State, Okpebholo said governance must be anchored on service, fairness, and collective purpose rather than personal ambition.

The governor also reiterated his solidarity with the Muslim community, promising continued engagement and collaboration. He assured that his government would remain open to their counsel and would continue working closely with religious and traditional leaders to promote peace and development.

The Special Adviser on Arewa Matters commended Governor Okpebholo’s inclusive leadership style, describing him as a compassionate and fair leader whose sense of justice has earned him public admiration.

Delivering a goodwill message, former Edo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Imasuen, echoed similar sentiments, noting that the people desire an administration under Okpebholo that continues to promote unity and inclusiveness across all sectors.
