The former Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, alongside the former governorship candidate of the party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, and the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Dr. Yunusa Tanko have paid a courtesy visit to the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday, at the presidential library, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Obi who disclosed this in a post on his X handle, said the meeting makes him believe that coming together of a competent team with capacity, compassion, and commitment to build a new Nigeria is possible.
He said the visit provided the opportunity to discuss the state of the nation and how everyone can live in unity, love, fairness and justice progressively together.
It would be recalled that Obi met with former President Good luck Jonathan behind closed-door three days ago in Abuja.
These meetings were coming amid conversation about the Nigeria’s political direction and the political future of Obi as the country approaches 2027 general elections.
