Just In: INEC Faults Declaration Of APC Winner, Summons Adamawa REC, Returning Officer

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has nullified the declaration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Adamawa state, Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Binani, winner of the election.

The Commission also summoned the Resident Electoral Commission (REC) of the State, Barrister Hudu Yunusa and the Returning Officer.

Breaking News:
The attention of the Commission has been drawn to a purported declaration of winner in the Adamawa Governorship election by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) even when the process has clearly not been concluded.
