Uzodimma Inaugurates APC Imo Campaign Council, Targets 2027 Sweep

The governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, has inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Imo State Campaign Council, charging members to extend the party’s operations to every ward, community and polling unit across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Uzodimma said the council’s primary mandate was to secure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the presidential, National Assembly and State Assembly elections.
The governor disclosed this in a post on his X handle, following the inauguration of the council at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Centre (EIICC).
He said the APC must strengthen its grassroots structures and ensure that its presence was felt across all communities and polling units in the state.
According to him, the council has been tasked with securing a comprehensive electoral victory for the party in the 2027 elections.
Uzodimma also highlighted what he described as the impactful governance delivered by the APC at the federal and sub-national levels, saying the party remained committed to the socio-economic transformation of the country.
He said the APC would continue to strengthen its political structures across Imo State while supporting President Tinubu’s national development agenda.
The governor urged members of the campaign council to work diligently at the grassroots to ensure victory for the president and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
