Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed the development on X on Tuesday.

According to Romano, Maresca has already signed a deal that will keep him at Manchester City until June 2029 and will immediately become involved in the club’s transfer plans ahead of the new season.

Romano wrote: “Enzo Maresca has already signed a three-year deal as Manchester City’s new manager.

“Agreement until June 2029 and new chapter to start soon at MCFC, with Maresca fully involved in the transfer strategy. Here we go, 100% confirmed.”

Maresca has been without a job since leaving in  Chelsea January and reportedly turned down several offers while waiting for the opportunity to return to Manchester City.
