The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved an extension of the timelines for the sale of aspirants’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The decision was reached during the NWC meeting held on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The extension also covers the deadline for the submission of completed forms and accompanying documents by aspirants seeking to contest under the party’s platform.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, announced the new dates.
He stated that the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Meseko added that the submission of completed forms and all required documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
He recalled that the initial timetable had scheduled the sale of forms from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The party deputy spokesman explained that the extension became necessary due to the public holiday observed nationwide on Friday, as well as the high level of interest shown by aspirants.
