The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the state and the country on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement issued on Friday by its spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, the party described Eid al-Fitr as a significant occasion that reflects the values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and unwavering faith in Allah.
The APC noted that the festival provides an opportunity for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence among residents.
Commending the Muslim community for their devotion and prayers during the holy month, the party acknowledged their contributions to the growth and stability of Lagos State. It also urged adherents to sustain the virtues of patience, generosity, and love beyond Ramadan.
The party further called on residents to use the festive period to strengthen unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and extend support to the less privileged in society.
Reaffirming its commitment to inclusive governance and religious harmony, the Lagos APC said it remains focused on implementing policies that will drive sustainable development across the state.
The party wished Muslims and all residents a peaceful, joyful, and safe Eid al-Fitr celebration.
