Alimosho LG Chairman Revalidates APC Membership, Urges Grassroots Mobilisation

The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government in Lagos State, Akinpelu Johnson, has revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party continues its ongoing e-registration and revalidation exercise.

Speaking after completing the process, Akinpelu described the exercise as a commendable initiative by the party leadership, noting that it would help establish an accurate database of members and strengthen internal party administration.

“This is a very good initiative by the party leadership to know the actual number of our members. It will, in turn, assist in managing our internal affairs, allocation of offices and other party-related activities,” he said.

The council chairman urged party members to visit designated registration points to complete their revalidation and encouraged them to also mobilise new members into the party.

He described the 2027 general elections as crucial for the APC, stressing the need for early mobilisation and grassroots engagement to consolidate the party’s strength.

Akinpelu further reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals and progressive agenda of the APC, noting that a strong, united and well-organised party structure at the grassroots remains vital for sustaining good governance and electoral success.

He assured APC members in Alimosho of continued inclusive leadership and strategic mobilisation efforts aimed at strengthening the party’s dominance within the local government and beyond.
