Progressives Governors Forum Convenes In Lagos To Discuss Key National Issues
The governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the umbrella of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), are currently holding a crucial meeting in Lagos.
This was disclosed on Friday night by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, in a post on his Facebook page.
According to him, the governors are meeting to deliberate on several pressing issues related to governance and national development.
Akosile stated: “The Progressive Governors, under the Chairmanship of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, are currently holding a very crucial meeting in Lagos. The PGF meeting, hosted by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will deliberate on several burning issues of governance and development in the country.”
It will be recalled that Southern Governors, a few weeks ago, met in Ogun State to discuss national issues and agreed on the establishment of a regional security trust fund.
