Access Bank Named Nigeria’s Bank of the Year 2025 At The Banker Awards in London

 

 

Access Bank has been awarded Bank of the Year 2025 – Nigeria at The Banker Awards, an annual global recognition platform organised by The Banker, a publication of the Financial Times Group.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Peninsula Hotel in London, drawing leading financial institutions from over 120 countries.

As the sole Nigerian winner, Access Bank’s recognition underscores its strong financial performance, innovation-driven growth, operational resilience, and sustained industry leadership over the past year.

Reacting to the award, Access Bank Managing Director/CEO, Roosevelt Ogbonna, described the honour as a testament to the hard work of the Bank’s workforce and the loyalty of its customers.
