Local Govts Driving True Progress In Lagos- Jandor

The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement and 2027 governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, has commended the impressive work being carried out by local governments across the state, stressing that meaningful development must begin at the grassroots.
Jandor made the remarks when he joined the APC Chairman in the state, Cornelius Ojelabi, and residents of Oto Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA) at the commissioning of the Hon. Ojelabi Legislative House.
The commissioning formed part of activities marking the first 100 days in office of the Chairman of Oto Awori LCDA, Hon. Azeez Kareem Abiodun.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye, Jandor presented a cheque of N5 million on behalf of the LCDA to support the Oto Awori Women Development Initiative Cooperative Fund.
He praised the efforts of local governments across Lagos State, emphasising that progress is most sustainable when leaders understand the daily realities of their communities and work diligently within available resources to deliver measurable impact.
Jandor noted that innovations in infrastructure, community services, youth development, and social welfare by various LGAs demonstrate that governance is most effective when it is closest to the people. Oto Awori LCDA, he added, is a clear example of this principle.
