New DG NTA Assumes Office, Lays Out Roadmap For Organisation’s Future

 

The newly appointed Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Rotimi Pedro, has officially assumed office, addressing staff in a spirited meeting that laid out his ambitious roadmap for the organization’s future.

This was disclosed via a post by the News organisation on its facebook page.

With digital transformation core in his vision for the network in Africa, Pedro explained the need to reinvigorate NTA’s relevance to Nigeria.

He highlighted the broadcaster’s legacy in shaping great minds and its potential to reach wider audience .

The DG after meeting with senior staff of NTA inspected organisation’s vast equipment with a commitment to upscaling them to improve operational efficiency that meets the new order in the industry.

It would be recalled that few days ago, President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of Rotimi Pedro as Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority NTA.

The president also approved a management team, in what is seen as a strategic move to reposition the nation’s broadcast station.

The management team includes; Karimah Bello (North-West), Executive Director, Marketing; Stella Din Jacob (North-Central); Executive Director, News; and, Sophia Essahmed (North-East), as Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited.

Tinubu urged the new appointees to bring fresh energy, innovation and teamwork into their roles, stressing the need to revitalize the NTA to deliver world-class broadcasting services to Nigerians.
