The governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, notable All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in the state including former governors, Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode have endorsed the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu.
The endorsement was carried out at the Lagos APC Stakeholders’ Forum held in Victoria Island on Tuesday.
Some of the Lagos APC leaders who participated in the endorsement include; the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt (Hon) Mudashiru Obasa, Senator Tokunbo Abiru (Lagos East), Senator Wasiu Eshinlokun (Lagos Central), Senator Idiat Adebule (Lagos West), all the APC House of Representatives members from Lagos and all members of the State’s House of Assembly.
Others include; the Governance Advisory Council members, all Lagos APC executives, and all Council Chairmen.
The motion for the endorsement was moved by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi and seconded by Speaker Obasa.
