Veteran Yoruba filmmaker and actor Segun Remi, popularly known as Chief Kanran has died.
Chief Kanran reportedly died on Friday morning (Today) after brief illness.
He was 72 years old.
Details about the cause of death were yet to be disclosed at the time of filing this report.
Chief Kanran was a popular Yoruba celerity who appeared in more than 100 films acting different roles.
